Easter Walk At Fleet Pond

Easter Walk at Fleet Pond on both Friday 18th and Saturday 19th April, 10am – 2pm.

Why not join the Countryside Rangers on a self guided walk around Fleet Pond?

Please meet the Rangers in the picnic area (near the car park) to get your Easter pack, find the clues, answer the questions, return to the picnic area and collect your Easter Egg!

It’s suitable for all ages and there’s no need to book, just drop in anytime between 10am – 2pm.

Dogs are very welcome 🙂

£3 per person and that includes an Easter Egg!

Volunteer Event This Sunday – 13 April 2014

Following on from the very popular Sunday volunteer event in March, the next one is this coming Sunday, 13 April.

Colin Gray writes:

“This coming Sunday is our last chance to burn up all the cut material from past tasks so the reserve is tidy for summer. The fire site is as before on the N E edge of Fugelmere Marsh.”

Michelle Salter, Secretary of FPS, writes:

“The Annual General Meeting of the Fleet Pond Society will take place at 7.15pm on Saturday 22nd February 2014 at St. P & J Church Hall, Kings Road, Fleet.

We would like to encourage all our members to attend. This is your opportunity to put questions to the Executive Committee and share your views on the future of Fleet Pond Nature Reserve.

Nominations are requested for the election of Officers and Members to the Executive Committee. Current committee members are required to stand down at the AGM but will be eligible for re-election.

Following the official business of the AGM there will be a short break for refreshments before we announce the winners of the Photographic Competition 2013. We do hope everyone who has entered will come along to see their photographs on display.”
