The tree safety works planned for 24 March (see here) will now take place on Monday 4 April.

Essential tree safety works will be carried out along the footpath running parallel to Fleet Station car park using large machinery.
The footpath leading from Wellington Avenue to the Carnival Bridge will be closed on Monday 4 April. Access to Fleet Station from Fleet Pond Nature Reserve can only be accessed via the concrete steps from the eastern edge of Fleet Pond (see map from previous post).
To reach Fleet Station from Wellington Avenue you will need to walk up Wellington Avenue to Avondale Road and then onto Fleet Road.
