Essential tree safety works will be carried out along the footpath running parallel to Fleet Station car park using large machinery.
Wednesday 23rd March 2011:
The footpath leading from the wooden station steps to Carnival Bridge (near concrete station steps) will be closed on the above date. Circum navigation of the pond will not be possible on the above date. Access to the Station car park can be gained from both the wooden and concrete steps (see map below).
Thursday 24th March 2011:
The footpath leading from Wellington Avenue to the Carnival Bridge will be closed on the above date. Access to Fleet Station from Fleet Pond Nature Reserve can only be accessed via the concrete steps from the eastern edge of Fleet Pond (see map below).
To reach Fleet Station from Wellington Avenue you will need to walk up Wellington Avenue to Avondale Road and then onto Fleet Road.
