A shorter day today, but made more difficult by a blustery headwind. Arrived at Banbury soon after 2.00p.m., and booked into the Cromwell Lodge Hotel.
There were a few hills to negotiate but the real problem was the wind. 32 miles felt like a lot more. Got to wash cycling gear and hope it dries before tomorrow or it could be a damp ride.
Three long days to come so I’m taking it easy tonight and eating at the hotel.

Hi Nick,
Hope your clothes dried out ok, today is cloudy but warm in Liverpool, no rain or wind (at the moment….).
Well done on pushing (or should I say pedalling) ahead.
We shall have the wine ready for when you arrive…
Cheers Christine & Ian
